I began this Good Friday in a terrible place, a place of bondage to my sin.  Thank you Jesus for reminding me that today I am not bound by anything.  I am free because of what you did on the cross for me.  Help me to live in the truth today and not live in the lies of guilt and shame.  ”I’ll never know how much it cost to see my sin upon that cross”. I can’t even begin to fathom how you could take on the filth and disgust of my sin. The words “thank you” can’t come close to expressing the gratitude I have in my heart for you enduring with me, loving me, giving yourself for me and rescuing me from what I deserve.  I love you Jesus.  Please help me keep my eyes on you and your cross today.  I am not bound, I am free.
